I have been interested and involved with design in one form or another for most of my life. I was born into a β€˜crafty’ family; whether it’s sewing, painting, knitting or getting out paper and glue – we are always making something. Handmade is normal for me.

Growing up in the β€˜Trading Spaces’ era, my favorite part of the show was watching the carpenters bring the designer’s furniture to life.  After scratching the idea to become a carpenter I decided to pursue a design degree.  My degree immersed me in the design world; teaching me about history, design styles, brainstorming, development, model making and more.

After college I have been able to continue pursuing design in both my professional and personal life. This site is a great place to see a little bit of both and demonstrate how design thinking is a lifestyle.
